The Original 142 was similar to its predecessors with the Baha'i numbering scheme: shaped foam core, a polyethylene top skin, and no bottom skin. The unique thing about the 142 was that it was the last production year of the "Original" line made without a bottom skin. All Originals to follow would feature a polyethylene bottom skin.
