In the early 1990s, Morey Boogie began losing team riders to other companies that offered more lucrative endorsement deals. Among these riders was longtime Morey Boogie rider and dropknee master Keith Sasaki, who eventually made the switch to Wave Rebel. Keith's move was marked by the release of his first pro model.
