Turbo set itself apart from other bodyboard manufacturers with ultra stiff boards and hard PVC bottoms. Most Turbo boards also came standard with fin boxes. The SE model features a hard plastic plate under the skin for added rigidity. The camouflage design on this board may have been in response to the trend of tamer color schemes in the early 1990s.
