Brand: Morey Boogie
Model: Mach 7-SS
Year: 1989
Features: Double 50/50 rails, blue chines, oversized hand grips
The Mach 7-SS took the tried-and-true Mach 7-7 and kicked it up a notch. According to ads, riding this new design would reportedly leave riders "super-stoked" (hence "SS"). This first generation Mach 7-SS was known for its bright blue chines and oversized rail grips. The large grips made the nose of this board especially buoyant, making the Mach 7-SS a great board for riding drop-knee. However, the grips were difficult to hold onto while riding prone and were eventually eliminated in later generations of the model. This particular board is missing the rainbow Morey Boogie logo decal.
